The next race is the 2 day General Tire Vegas to Reno presented by Fox  Shocks , August 17th-20th. This race in a 2 day format will be a killer adventure and take some good strategy and planning to pull off a win. The longer races for me were always my best because you had to be more prepared to take care of your equipment to make it through the 2nd day.

I have heard a number of teams say they want to race it. Who plans on being there?
We have 1 house rental truck we are supporting as of now, a group of motorcycle racers out of Idaho, so look for #6009 on the list.
I hope to see the McLeods give this race another shot.

The Arciero Motorsports 6017 truck will be at Vegas to Reno. We are also gonna go race the MORE Mckenzie 250 race to get more seat time and work on our setup. Gotta do something to try and beat that 6002 team lol.

Congratulations to Josh Cobb #6066 for being the lucky winner of the free entry into to the Vegas 2 Reno! Laughing was a tough race to finish to qualify for this drawing.
That is a huge gift from BITD and we are lucky to have BITD supporting TrophyLite.
The winner of V2R will automatically receive a free entry into the BlueWater Desert Challenge in Parker.

Had to get a new motor after 6 months of racing  Bummer!

Jason let us know that he saw smoke come out of the motor at Laughlin (THANK YOU JASON!) and when Mike and I saw the video we couldn't believe it.  We had a test day in the works so we decided to take it out and see if we could get it to smoke or show signs of failing, after 106 miles of testing and driving all over Lucerne we couldn't find anything wrong the motor ran strong and no smoke.  Jake did a bleed down test on it and sure enough #2 and#3 where bad :-\ either a crack in the block or head gasket either way bad news.

This is what makes the Trophylite community so great! Sharing information like Jason did with us is just one of the many things that makes our class so GOOD!  Not sure what would have happened at Vegas to Reno but thanks to Jason for giving us some valuable information so that we didn't spend a bunch of $$ and time going to a race with faulty motor.  Thanks again and we owe you beer when you get old enough ;)  until then whatever you need let us know.

got the new motor yesterday and Jake's fabworks is in the middle of another great prep on 6002.

Looking forward to seeing everyone at Vegas to Reno.
