OK! So I'll respond. I'm in. I'll be there Thursday night and watch y'all battle on Friday. Pretty sure there will be a "Welcome BBQ" provided by Select Glass in the pits so I hope to make it there before it's over. Now on to who of YOU will be at the race and where y'all will start....

Starting Order:
1. 6081  Schmueser III
2. 6003  Wardle
3. 6050  Whitt
4. 6004  McMurray
5. 6006  Carey
6. 6063  Fitos
7. 6012  Bragg
8. 6066  Cobb

We hope to see 2 more but if not we hope to be able to put on a great race for those who came out. This will, no doubt, be an amazing season and we hope to see you there.

Funny, the first 2 to register places 1st and 2nd.  Coincidence?

--John

So do you think there is a correlation between how early someone registers and their finishing position? I sort of see this in the running/triathon events my wife and I do. If I register a year early for an event, I feel like I have been preparing for that race and aside from any injuries I typically have a good race. Now if I'm a last minute sign up my prep is much less than it would be otherwise.

But then there is luck and karma involved as well but what is the metric for that?

Day 1 is complete. Travis lead for nearly the entire race battling with Cory for the top spot where Cory would be the first truck in followed by Travis and Greg Bragg rounding out the Day 1 Podium.

I attached the times in a snippet. Good Luck everyone on Day 2!

Results:
6010 - Mozden: DNF
6060 - Herling: DNF

Here is a little recap from Todd and the 6010 team from IG @ttmracing6010

Green machine on the run!! Not exactly the day we were hoping for today. Everything was running perfectly up until the end of lap three where our rear lugs decided they didn’t want to party anymore and came loose. In an effort to save our truck from any major repairs we called it just short of the start/finish on our second to last lap. We still had a blast and can’t wait to go out and tear it up at RAGE!!

Tyler Mozden #6010 will be in Ridgecrest next weekend looking to build on his points lead. Where's Rossi? Season points are pretty tight in TrophyLite for SNORE.

General Discussion / Re: Starting Order

Hey Gene the problem I have is adrenaline! Set a good solid pace but don't do anything stupid. Like the "King", Todd Jackson used to say, "let the race come to you".

Larry, so you get all pumped up! That's awesome. I was looking at some numbers yesterday and it was extremely rare that anyone starting in the top 3 would finish on the podium at V2R.

From an adrenaline stand point, maybe it's better to start mid pack or toward the back in order to feel like you can chase vs. be chased.
